Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully following Terms & Conditions before you apply for booking/enrollment.  

Once you apply, you are regarded as you understand and accept the terms and conditions.

1.1 All the terms 'learner(s)', 'graduate(s)', 'applicant(s)', ' enrollee(s)' refer to you, who is the paying client and/or the customer. 

1.2 Edible Skincare Japan may also be mentioned as 'us', 'the school' or 'the college' and so on, to differentiate 'us' (the school) from 'you' (the applicant/student). All these terms refer to the business owner, Edible Skincare Japan, a company registered in Japan, which owns registered offices at 1-1-8 Tokiwa-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan 540-0028 Japan. 

1.3 "Online learning program" refers to any of the home-study programs of our distance learning course materials. For clarity, the terms 'e-course' 'distance learning' 'e-learning' 'correspondence course' and 'home-study' are interchangeable; they refer to any of our course that you study at home, and do not mean something which have a physical property or venue with us. 

1.4 The terms 'materials' 'modules' 'downloads' 'lessons' and 'coursework' refer to the electronic documents and supporting information (such as slideshows/videos) that are provided for your studies. 

1.5 "Intellectual Property Rights" means all patents, registered and unregistered designs, copyrights, trademarks, know-hows and all other forms of intellectual properties wherever in the world enforceable; 

1.6 "Learning Agreement" refers to these terms and conditions, and is deemed as a legally binding contract as soon as enrolment has been completed and fees paid. 

1.7 ‘Learning Period’ refers to the maximum allotted time for completion of 

Edible Skincare Japan’s online learning programs. Currently-specified time scale is: 1 year of learning period for a Certificate courses 

2.1 These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all the contracts concluded for the online courses supplied by Edible Skincare Japan to its learners. 

2.2 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice. 

2.3 All of our course materials are provided in English as English is deemed to be the language which is understood and used by most of the learners. 

3.1 Enrollment is not considered to be completed until payment has been made. 

3.2 Cancellation policy: Your statutory right under the Consumer Protection Regulations  allows you cancellation within eight (8) working days from the day after the purchase of a course, for which you need to make a written request. Email is accepted as a formal written request. 

 3.3 Refunds are not applied to the learners who failed to pass the course/program they were enrolled in. 

3.4 Use of cheating and/or plagiarism in the course assignments will result in an automatic fail with no refund option. 

4.1 We have a strict Equality & Diversity Policy for enrollment and never discriminate against the learners on the basis of gender, ethnic origin, race, religion, age, disability or sexual preference. 

4.2 Bullying or harassment is not permitted and such behaviors will result in suspension and failure from Edible Skincare Japan courses. 

4.3 Learners must respect the equality and diversity policies outlined in the learners’ handbook when interacting with fellow learners in the group. 

5.1 We reserve the right to make changes to the advertised course materials at any time without prior notice. 

5.2 Edible Skincare Japan warrants that the Materials will be of satisfactory quality but does not warrant that the Materials will be error free. 

6.1 During the learning period under each course, every learner will have access to a private Facebook group which is daily monitored by Edible Skincare Japan. The aim of this group is to provide an interactive learning space and peer support among the participants. 

6.2 Personalized or one-on-one tutor support/beauty consultancy is not included in the service for the courses. Please do not abuse the Facebook group by tagging Edible Skincare Japan staff with direct questions unless it is for technical support. 

6.3 Question concerning technical support for issues in our website, email, downloads of materials or videos and related matters is unlimited; please contact with us via edibleskincarej@gmail.com. 

7.1 If: (a) you fail to pay any amount due under this Agreement; (b) you breach any of the terms and conditions, express or implied, mentioned in this Agreement; or (c) any information provided by you in the making of this Agreement proves to be incomplete or inaccurate, we shall be entitled, after the expiry of a Default Notice served on you, to terminate this Agreement. 

7.2 If you fail to complete the course within the allotted time scale, you will be deemed to have failed the course and termination will be the end result (except where Extenuating Circumstances have been granted in accordance with clause 8). 

7.3 Edible Skincare Japan reserves the right to terminate this learning agreement with learners who act inappropriately or otherwise bully, harass and cause offence to other learners. 

8.1 If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you need to break your studies and therefore extend the time scale of the course and learning period, you MUST apply by email and ask to receive extenuating circumstances. An email notification granting the extension will be sent should you be successful. However, if no notice is forthcoming then you will receive an email explaining why the extension has not been granted. If the study extension has not been granted, the original end date of the course and support remains. 

9.1 This code of conduct is a part of the general terms and conditions that you accept when you enroll. 

9.2 You promise to finish the course before the end date given in your welcome letter (unless extenuating circumstances have been granted in accordance with clause 8). 

9.3 You promise to conduct yourself in a professional manner when using the learner’s forum in any social media associated with Edible Skincare Japan. 

9.4 You promise to use the given channels of communication for learners’ support as outlined in your learners’ handbook and in these terms and conditions. 

9.5 You promise to keep your login details safe and do not share, sell or otherwise distribute them to any third parties. 

10.1 All materials are under copyright of Edible Skincare Japan©All Rights Reserved. You promise not to share, sell, publish copy or otherwise distribute any of our course materials to any third parties. 

 11.1 Learners shall indemnify the School against all claims, costs and expenses which may arise, directly or indirectly, from the learner’s breach of any of its obligations under this Agreement. 

12.1 Except in respect of death or personal injury due to negligence for which no limit applies, the entire liability of the School to the Learner in respect of any claim whatsoever or breach of this Agreement, whether or not arising out of negligence, shall be limited to the fees paid by the Learner to which the claim relates. 

12.2 In no event shall the School be liable to the Learner for any loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of profits or for any other indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever. This shall apply even where such a loss was reasonably foreseeable or the School had been made aware of the possibility of the Learner incurring such a loss. 

12.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the School’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from the School’s negligence or that of its employees, agents or sub-contractors. 

13.1 This agreement and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Japan. 

13.2 The parties irrevocably agree that the Supreme Court of Japan have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

Any access or use of Edible Skincare Japan or http://edibleskincarej.com signifies your consent to the following terms and conditions. Prior to taking any legal or action otherwise, please contact us at Edible Skincare Japan to notify us of the nature of the query. Edible Skincare Japan will not accept any returns delivered to us without written communication and agreement prior to return to us.

We accept major credit cards as payment PayPal. **Please note: Registration with PayPal is NOT required**. Edible Skincare Japan reserves the right to amend prices on the site at any time. From time to time, despite our endeavor to maintain accurate and correct pricing on the website, there may be mistake(s). If there is a mistake, you will be notified via email before the product(s) are dispatched to you. Shipping charges are not included in the price of the product. Shipping charges are determined by the size of your order in total weight. 

Edible Skincare Japan will process your online order within 24-48 hours of receiving your request on weekdays. Most of all Edible Skincare Japan items are custom ordered. It takes about 2 - 3 weeks to make your orders. All items will ship as we finish to produce them asap. We will contact you when we receive your order with the expected date of shipping.

Orders will also be accepted via email for all merchandise. When an order is placed on http://edibleskincarej.com, you will receive an email confirming the order and the billing details of the order once payment is confirmed. The order acceptance will be when the funds have been received and the product(s) have been dispatched to you. In some cases when items of heavy weight or irregular size are ordered, additional shipping charges may apply. In these cases, customers will be notified via email and asked to pay additional shipping and handling charges.

When ordering goods from Edible Skincare Japan for international deliveries you may be subject to import duties and/or taxes, Edible Skincare Japan is not responsible for any charges that are incurred from customs/duties whatsoever. Any additional charges for customs clearance are considered outside of our control and Edibke Skincare Japan cannot predict the value of what these charges may be. For further information on custom and excise policies in your country, please contact your local customs office.

Edible Skincare Japan ships all orders via EMS. Your shipping options and cost will be outlined at the time of checkout. You may track your order via the EMS website after your order has shipped. Upon shipping you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order.

Booking is not considered to be completed until payment has been made. 

Returns or Exchanges may not be accepted except our wrong shipment. Once purchased, no product may be returned because of the purchaser's personal preferences.

Edible Skincare japan will not accept any returned merchandise without prior written communication and valid Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection and approval, Exchange or Store Credit will be provided, No Refunds.

If any matters of liability arise, the matter will be dealt with and settled between Edible Skincare Japan and the customer directly. The terms and conditions of the respective seller will apply and be the basis of the discussions. 

You understand and agree that Edible Skincare Japan shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages done by any of the services we provide. All items are purchased at your own risk. Any damage caused from shipping is to be taken up by you with the shipping company. Edible skincare Japan will provide you with the tracking number and contact information for the shipping company as needed. Once this information is provided to you, it is your responsibility as the customer to contact and deal with the shipping company. We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages.

Your statutory right under the Consumer Protection Regulations allows you cancellation within eight (8) working days from the day after the purchase of a workshop/treatment/course, for which you need to make a written request. Email is accepted as a formal written request. Our service requires full prepayment, therefore changes  may only be made to your booking up to 10 working days prior to the appointment date, subject to availability. No cancellations are permitted after the settlement.
